Knowledge
Contacts shows you all of the website visitors that you’ve saved within Pure Chat. They're a fantastic way to give yourself a head start on a new chat conversation and treat your website visitors with extra familiarity!
Click Contacts on from the left sidebar menu to access all of your most recently added contacts. Click on a person’s name to view their information with details like name, email, visit history (including links to past chat transcripts), location, and more.
You can use a number of sorting options to sort by the date a contact was added, the last time they visited your site, as well as their name, email, company and phone number. If you don’t want to see any these fields, you can remove them using the gear icon on the right.
You can also use the search bar and dropdowns to filter contacts by date, operator, email, phone number and keyword.
Tagging Contacts & Transcripts
Categorize your Pure Chat contacts with tags to refer or search for them later. To add a tag to a contact, navigate to Contacts and click on a person’s name to open their personal details. To give a contact a new tag, start typing in the Tags dropdown. If the tag has already been used it will auto-populate as you type, otherwise you can create a new one and apply it by clicking Add.
You can also tag a specific chat transcript while you’re in a conversation with a contact. Just check the Associate tag with transcript box and the label will appear with a chat bubble next to it.
Tags that have been applied to transcripts are searchable from the Transcripts section. Just type in the tag you want to find and every conversation associated with that label will appear.
